Abstract

An emergency call management system was derived from existing equivalent systems dedicated to police or fire brigade emergency services. This paper describes the overall system concept, details systems functions, and depicts the technical system architecture. It shows how the integrated use of communication and computer electronics provides support to the operators for incident location, environment assessment and optimum allocation of means and forces to process the incidents.
