Abstract

Stereophotogrammetry is an excellent tool for providing accurate and complete scaled maps of accident scenes. However, it is a very expensive method. Single-viev photogrammetry, based on photographs taken with non-metric cameras and on-the-job calibration is much cheeper, and provides adequate accuracy. The method is described and its accuracy discussed.
