Abstract
In the reconstruction, repaving and repair of highways the computer can play a important role. At the Ministry of Transport and Rijkswaterstaat computer programmes are developed which are described here. The development of a future optimal reconstruction program is presented. With this program an optimal relationship between layout, material and (re)- construction methods can be obtained.
