Abstract

The nonisotropic structure is analysed by finite elements of connected bars to get the gross parameters for the handling behaviour of the belted tire. Cornering forces are computed by a band-model of contact-patch and compared with measured ones. Nonstationary reactions are investigated by a differential equation of second order which involves curvature of path and the wide of the contact area.
