A conceptional framework for child pedestrian research.

Abstract

This paper presents a ironwork for research on child pedestrians consisting of two parts. An examination of the factors affecting the exposure to risk of child pedestrians, and a detailed analysis of the pedestrians task in a road crossing situation. The implication of this approach is discussed, and suggestions are made for future research.
