Abstract

The aim is to approach the new conceptual, multicriterial and mathematical model to evaluateI nternational Border Electronic Clearance (IBEC) at export corridors in Brazil as a new way to test the need of improving it by applying modern intelligent technologies and its adoption in a wide spectrum at transportation on exports and legal exit of general cargo in containers. The process is presented in a reduced and spatial representation of Brazilian Exports transportation, identifying the gaps of IBEC including sea ports, considering the transportation screening and enforces control and procedures. It is conclude that there are some semi-automatic systems working intelligent transportation systems (ITS) technologies and mathematical evaluation model can facilitate the decision makers to analyze and justify the need of process improving by ITS technologies application to preclearance, guarantying more safety and efficiency for exports corridors, incurring in a lower Brazil-Cost.
