Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1834 includes a Michigan case study of the deterioration of concrete pavements constructed with slag coarse aggregate, an analysis of the mechanical properties and durability of several plain and fiber-reinforced concrete-overlay mixes, an examination of a restrained-ring test that quantifies stress development and cracking in low water-to-cement concrete, and an assessment of concrete drying-shrinkage performance specifications for concrete mixtures purchased by the Virginia Department of Transportation, and more. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2003. For abstracts of some of the papers see C 32139 - C 32150.
