Abstract

This project (a review of the literature concerned with speed and speeding) is the first part of the Project HUSSAR which was concerned with High UnSafe Speed Accident Reduction. Three different methods were used, the aim has been to identify driver behaviour, experiences, perceptions, attitudes and values regarding speed choice and speeding behaviour, with a view to analysing the implications for the content of – and potential target groups for – speed-related media safety campaigns.
