Abstract
The report is on the planning and execution of the Conference. The preparation of the agenda, participation of the advisory committee, development of the invitation list, and selection of the site are recounted. An evaluation of the Conference is given, and a description of the contribution of the Public Meeting on Child Transportation Safety to the Conference's success. Appendices provide specific examples of letters, mailing lists, program content and evaluation questionnaires used in the body of the report.
