Abstract

The main objectives of the conference were to: 1) review progress on Road Safety 2000 (RS2000), identifying and addressing key issues; 2) review RS2000 targets, objectives and strategies; 3) recommend changes to RS2000; 4) review and finalise performance indicators at program and issue levels; and 5) support the continuing participation and committment of key stakeholders. The report presents the suggestions and recommendations made by participants as individuals or as groups arising from both the workshops and plenary sessions.
