Abstract

A number of techniques as applied to work trip data are compared. Using a simple computer matrix, work site locations and employee residences are examined; accessibility concepts are utilized to analyze time-distance relationships, the distribution of the labor force, and varying employment opportunities; the distribution of land uses is examined to its effect on work-journey flows.
