Abstract
Many more areas will be designated "nonattainment" under the new National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for ozone and particulate matter, some for the first time. This article examines how three states--Georgia, North Carolina, and Oklahoma--have prepared for implementation of the new NAAQS. (Author/publisher)
