Abstract

A conceptual framework and an empirical study of real-world decision-making in travel mode choice are developed based on social science investigations of individual situations of single persons. In this approach those persons or groups of can be identified, who are really affected by certain changes in transport policies, and ranges of plausible reaction can be estimated.
