Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1900, the four-part, concluding volume of the 2004 Record series, covers topics in portland cement concrete pavements, bituminous pavements, quality assurance, and construction management. Included are an analysis of multivariate models for evaluating segregation in hot-mix asphalt pavements, the effect of material transfer devices on flexible pavement smoothness, the process for selecting innovative quality assurance practices for materials, context-sensitive construction solutions, and innovative strategies on the Dallas High Five project. Many of these papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2004. For abstracts of some papers in this volume, see C 50503 - C 50506.
