Contact lenses in car drivers from the ophthalmoneurological point of view.

Abstract

Clinical experience in 50 professional drivers have proved the possibility of successful fitting these by hydrophilic soft contact lenses. Not a single significant eye complication was encountered during the 5 years lasting follow up period in drivers wearing contact lenses mostly every day for a total of 8-12 hours daily.
