Abstract

This paper was presented at the `Transportation-Related Environmental Assessment, Site Audit and Management' session. The Regional Municipality of Hamiton-Wentworth (Region) is developing a Contaminated Sites Management Program (CSMP). The first phase of the program is the development of an Operational Manual for Regional staff. The purpose of this paper is to describe why the Region is developing the Program, how it is being developed, and what it involves with particular reference to the development of the Operations Manual.
