Abstract

This paper presents some of the important guidelines for design and construction of continuously reinforced concrete pavement (CRCP), thereby recording current design practices and indicating the scope of present and future research. More detailed discussion is presented on the significance of steel content, type of reinforcement, non-erodible bases, construction processes, terminal treatment, and the use of CRCP as an overlay.
