Abstract

This paper reports some preliminary findings on 77 cases selected through a stratified sampling procedure for a 1-year longitudinal study of non-vehicular accidents, in particular childhood accidents so as to determine whether descriptions of the infants, their home environments and patterns of interactions with their environments would differentiate among separate types of accident situations.
