Abstract

Depending on the in-vehicle traffic control equipment, different information bases for dynamic routeing decisions have to be considered. An integrated consistent control strategy is designed for optimum use among all groups of drivers. The principles of data acquisition, modelling traffic conditions and information management are presented and discussed. (A)
