Abstract

Control of an electro-magnetic levitating frame for the support and guidance of track-bound vehicles is dealt with. The simulation model for the controller synthesis and the dynamic analysis is presented. It is shown that a disturbance-variable compensation has to be provided to minimize the need for the air gap during the beginning of curves and gradients.
