Abstract

Canada is highly dependent upon its transportation system and its dependency has resulted in one of the most efficient systems of rural roads in the world. Several methods of controlling traffic flows are employed including radio communication, road patrols, high standards of winter maintenance, to improve the efficiency of the systems.
