Abstract

The Danish Road Safety Council is an independent, self governing foundation, which cooperates closely with public authorities, in particular the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Transport, and the Road Directorate, to promote road safety. An example of a campaign designed by the Council and local Road Safety Committees, the Drunken Driving Campaign, is discussed.
