Abstract

COOPERS addresses the subject of co-operative systems for road transport in a very specific and unique way. As most of the previous R and D projects in this field focus to autonomous in-car systems or vehicle-to-vehicle communication, COOPERS tackles the enhancement of 'intelligence' of the road telematics infrastructure, so that the infrastructure at the end of the project is able to communicate/ co-operate with the vehicles and vice versa (A). For the covering abstract of the conference see ITRD E212343.
