The design and deployment of intelligent transportation system technology for the co-ordination of human services and general public transportation in SE Massachusetts in the USA are described. This involved the co-operation of a rural and a small urban regional transit authority with the State Department of Transportation (DOT) and human services agencies in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
