Abstract

This paper describes a case study designed to examine the effectiveness of an Advanced Traffic Management and Information System (ATMIS) in the Detroit metropolitan area. An experimental plan is intended to quantify, through simulation, the impacts of the existing ATMIS and to estimate the benefits of ATMIS components' integration and enhancement.
