Corrosion of steel piling in nonmarine applications.

Abstract

This report contains the findings of a study to provide knowledge on the magnitude of the problem of steel piling corrosion and the synthesise the current state of practice in evaluating and predicting corrosion. A recommended practice for the assessment of steel piling in nonmarine applications and a strategic plan to develop means to determine the condition and to estimate the useful life of steel piling are provided.
