Abstract

NHTSA has been working with the judicial community to develop ways in which they (judges) can step off the bench and be involved in the community. Courage to Live, developed with the National Judicial College and a cadre of judges, school administrators, teachers, and others, provides a vehicle for discussions with young people about the "real consequences" of risk-taking involving alcohol and motor vehicles.
