Abstract

This paper describes how the combined requirements for Cooperative Systems were created from those produced by the EC funded COOPERS, Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System (CVIS) and SAFESPOT projects. The European ITS Framework Architecture (FRAME) User Needs format was used for the combined requirements to provide compatibility with existing European ITS architectures. Where the projects' requirements did not match any existing FRAMEUser Needs new ones were created. The results of this work have been published by the COMeSafety project. The E-FRAME project is using them to create a new version of the FRAME Architecture that supports the inclusion of cooperative systems in ITS implementations.
