Abstract

The use of critical path methods as applied to the design and construction stages of major developments at Sydney Airport is given. The provision of time-scaled networks in conjunction with computer printouts is related as being of advantage on one of the works. Conclusions are drawn with regard to the use of the method for design and contract and construction, and the point is made that critical path techniques have aided considerably in design and construction planning.
