Abstract
This Departmental Standard gives details of highway cross sections on open roads and at structures and also the requirements for headroom at structures and other features. Details of the horizontal clearance requirements at roadside objects such as road lighting columns, traffic signals, permanent and temporary traffic signs, and at road works are specified in Refs 1 & 2.
