Abstract

The development of road safety education programs for young children has focussed on behavioral training in traffic to improve road crossing skills. These programs are suitable for training relatively simple crossing procedures. This paper discussed the development of a program module concerning road crossing at intersections with visual obstacles, which can be carried out in the school. The various steps in the development procedure of this module are discussed in detail.
