Abstract

Crossing the road is risky and dangerous, because it intersects with the normal movements in traffic, at least those movements which are generally considered to be normal movements. The phenomenon of grossing the road is considered from the angle of safety. There are, in principle at least three ways to influence the risk of crossing the road. (1) Diminishing and avoiding the activity of crossing itself; (2) Changing the concept of the road; and (3) Maintaining the crossing-the-road activity and trying to safeguard it.
