Abstract

This report gives the RRL's estimate of the cost of accidents in 1968. A major change in method compared with RRL report LR79 is that in calculating the effective loss of output of those who are killed in road accidents their future consumption is now not deducted from their future output. The average cost of all accidents divided by the number of injury accident is ? 1.600.
