Abstract
In the year 2015 there will be 2.7 million people over 65 years in the Netherlands, which is ± 30% of the total population. Research data show that elderly people, men as well as women, have a less mobility. In the mobility pattern and the average traffic performance there are big changes. At first sight the number of traffic victims over 60 years is not really alarming, but the accident rate per distance is much higher than for other groups. The course presented here has the aim to educate the elderly people in this management with traffic in consequence with their getting older.
