Abstract

Public transport is an important element in solving the problems of greenhouse gas emissions and traffic congestion. The public transport industry is focused on providing and improving public transport services in Melbourne in order to increase passenger numbers and address these and other problems. This study examines the public's perceptions of train service in Melbourne to contribute to developing solutions to improve public transport services.
