Abstract

To illustrate the implications of cybernetic theory for learning the evolutionary development of human learning is described and the ways in which man has become adapted to his own educational designs are illustrated. Research in meaningful educational settings is emphasized. Methods of teaching and training are surveyed, and results of investigations into their effectiveness are summarized.
