Abstract

This report deals with a sensitivity analysis for the perspective perception of lateral position variations during course-following and distance variations during car following. Variations in the curvature of the road to be followed are also considered via a perspective transformation. The sensitivities are derived for the development of a cybernetical model to describe and predict driver behaviour quantitatively.
