Cycling in Italy.

Abstract

According to the most recent estimates there are between 22 and 27 million bicycles in Italy. However, despite the availability of bicycles, Italians do not take advantage of this means of transport to get about. Italy is also way behind other European countries with respect to cyclist facilities.
