Abstract

Accident statistics and pilot surveys carried out in the United States on samples of licensed drivers aged 16-24 show that the young male driver between the ages of 19-22 is the most likely to be involved in accident producing injury. Results support that pressures are the main cause of dangerous driving in this group.
