Abstract

This presentation focuses on: Danish experience in children's traffic safety campaigns, specifically by means of a number of bicycle helmet campaigns; and on a more general view, stating some views on a necessary development of such information campaigns in the future. Finally, a description is given of the Children's Traffic Club: a kind of correspondence school on traffic training for 3-6 year olds and their parents. In Denmark, about half of all children are members of this club. (A)
