Abstract
The driving safety of a one-axled trailer depends from the quality of the towing vehicle as well as from the design and construction of the trailer. But also the right loading and the behaviour of the driver influence the traffic safety of the combination. The number of possible combinations between vehicles and trailers or caravans is almost unlimited. Therefore some recommendations are given for a better compatibility.
