Abstract
On the hand of many influencing factors a comparison ismade of the general and specific questions of road trafficsa.fety in the Federal Republic of Germany and in the Uni-ted States. It is tried to define the most vulnerable ronduser, in dependence with age and sex, and the influence oflocation, the road and the time on the accident, to decrea-se the number of accidents in botte countries.
