Das Unfallgeschehen im Jahr 2010 : Unfallprognosen für Strassenverkehr, Sport und Haushalt als Grundlage für eine schwerpunktorientierte Unfallprävention.

Die Studie ist als Entscheidungsgrundlage geschaffen, die Sicherheitsaktivitäten sowie personelle und finanzielle Mittel optimal an die zu erwartenden Veränderungen bis zum Jahre 2010 anpasst. Ziele der Unfallverhütung für die nächsten 15 Jahre: Bei den Risikoprognosen für den Strassenverkehr wurden die Bevölkerungsentwicklung unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Veränderung der Altersstruktur, die Entwicklung des Verkehrsaufkommens, die Finanzen der öffentlichen Hand und gesellschaftliche Werthaltungen einbezogen, ausserdem die Entwicklung der Fahrzeuge, die Entwicklung der Sicherheit von Verkehrsanlagen, die Entwicklung gesetzlicher Rahmenbedingungen sowie das individuelle Verhalten. Insgesamt wird davon ausgegangen, dass die Anzahl potentiell gefährdeter Personen im Strassenverkehr (kollektives Risiko) zunimmt, da unter anderem die Expositionszeit im Strassenverkehr und damit das individuelle Risiko steigt. Höhere individuelle Risiken durch die Weiterführung der aktuellen Tendenz zu grösseren und schwereren Personenwagen ergeben sich für Klein- und Leichtfahrzeuge, haben jedoch kaum Auswirkung auf die Anzahl der Unfälle. English abstract: Individual behaviours and social patterns are subject to rapid change. These developments influence the occurrence of accidents and, subsequently, the field of activity of the Swiss Council for Accident Prevention (CAP). It is the CAP's concern to promptly recognise such future developments in order to continue and improve the effectiveness of non-occupational accident prevention. With the present study, a decision making basis is created, thus allowing the CAP to adjust its activities as well as its human and financial resources to the expected future changes. The development of the occurrence of accidents during the past two decades as well as recognisable, present-day outlooks on behaviours and social patterns help to identify trends and to assess the effects of these trends upon the occurrence of accidents in the future. A plausible vision of the occurrence of accidents in the years 2000 and 2010 will enable the cap to review their objectives and to draw conclusions for their future activities.
