Abstract

From the literature is shown that for the nowadays vehicles in case of side wind the following points need attention: (1) the gravity-point of the car must be more to the front; (2) the touching point of the resulting side-wind forces must be more to the back-side and the air-pressure must be higher at the backside. A discussion is presented if these recommendations are always be in force.
