Abstract

A digital computer program is described which analyses visual search data from subjects watching a traffic film while performing a simulated driving task. Classification of eye states into saccades, fixations, pursuits, and blinks, statistical summaries of eye movement patterns, analysis of "looks" at pre- selected events in the film, and analysis of a discrete response task performed by the subjects are included in the capabilities of the program.
