Abstract

A Wallace-Shawbury Dynamic Sinusoidal Strain machine fulfilling the test requirements laid down in BS 903: Part A24: 1964 is being used by the Road Research Laboratory for research into the relation between viscoelastic properties of tyre tread rubbers and the friction between tyre and road surfaces.
