Abstract

An important source of error of the transportation analysis outcomes is the level of spatial detail applied (i.e. zone size and network detail). This level also greatly affects the analysis costs. In order to investigate these effects in the case of the assignment module, an experiment was designed allowing the systematic variation of the factors designed allowing the systematic variation of the factors like zone size, network detail and assignment model type.
