Abstract
Two by fundamental advantages of the car are the unbroken journey (without changing modes) and the short distance of the parking place to the door of destination. By the increasing of the car the last increases rapidly. When the car use will decrease the focus will be laid to pedestrianisation and the use of the bicycle and public transport as alternate transport modes for our mobility. From this point of view the lengthening of the walking distance must be taken into account.
