Abstract

A study is made in how far the accessibility for pupils has changed after the closing of a number of primary schools in the Netherlands. By a change in school- system a number of primary schools were closed and the pupils had to go to other schools sometimes even in other villages or regions of the town. Eleven case- studies were done. Besides the problems of accessibility, also problems for traffic safety and journey to school are studied.
