Abstract
The U.T.A.C. has been asked by the O.N.S.E.R. to undertake researchwork on the influence of the several parameters governing water protection phenomena. The water protection is conditioned by shape and speed of the vehicle and the ampont (heigth) of water on the road. The flexible flaps behind the rear wheels don't reduce water projection, but even tend to increase it. They should have the right shape and position, have no sharp edges that pulverize water, and be made so as to channel the collected water to the ground.
